Clarksville Community Theatre was born from a simple but powerful idea: our community deserves the same creativity, opportunity, and sense of belonging that theatre students experience every day in the classroom.

The vision for Clarksville Community Theatre began with three high school theatre teachers who saw firsthand how transformative theatre can be for young people building confidence, fostering collaboration, and creating spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued. They asked a natural next question: What if the broader Clarksville community had access to that same experience?

From that question, Clarksville Community Theatre was formed.

Our Mission
Clarksville Community Theatre exists to connect, engage, and inspire our community through accessible, high-quality theatrical experiences. We provide opportunities for individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to participate in the performing arts: onstage, backstage, and in the audience to foster creativity, belonging, and a lifelong love of theatre in Clarksville and the surrounding region.

Our Vision
We envision a thriving, inclusive community where every person has the opportunity to experience, create, and celebrate the transformative power of theatre. Clarksville Community Theatre strives to be a welcoming home for artistic expression, education, and collaboration, building a stronger, more connected Clarksville through shared stories and shared stages.
